As part of the company’s fundraising initiatives, employees from equipment tracking specialist AMI Group have completed the Bubble Run to raise funds for Willow Wood Hospice, an adult hospice in Tameside, Greater Manchester, which provides specialist palliative care for patients with life limiting illnesses.
AMI Group Finance Director Janet Stockton and Marketing and Communications Director Laura Stockton donned their running gear to complete the Bubble Rush – a fun-filled 3K fun run at Dukinfield Golf Club where cannons of bubbles pumped out multi-coloured bubbles all the way to the finish line. It was a real family affair with Laura’s 1 year old son taking part, as well as the 5 year old son of Operations Director Peter Stockton.
Together, the AMI Group contingent raised over £500 for Willow Wood Hospice which offers a number of services including an Inpatient Unit, a Day Hospice, Dementia Support and Bereavement Counselling.
AMI Group’s Marketing and Communications Director Laura Stockton said: “We loved taking part in the Bubble Run and we’re glad we’ve been able to play a small part in raising funds for Willow Wood Hospice which provides a very valuable service to those with life limiting illnesses. We’d like to thank all our supporters and those who have kindly donated to the cause.”
